Aging with Dignity joined other national organizations in recognizing April 16, 2008, as the inaugural National Healthcare Decisions Day. On this day, organizations across the country emphasized the importance of planning ahead of a health crisis and completing an advance directive. Many groups that distribute Five Wishes planned community events and outreach surrounding National Healthcare Decisions Day. Some used customized Five Wishes to deliver a specific message tailored to their audience (see more information here). Other organizations distributed the new bilingual Five Wishes, showed the Five Wishes DVD, or spread the word about the My Wishes pediatric discussion tool. TELL US ABOUT WHAT YOU DID!
