There are many ways to make
a difference and touch
countless lives!
You can help Aging with Dignity to continue promoting human dignity
in our nation, as well as bring this message to your community. Here are
some key ways that
you can help make Aging with Dignity's work possible:
Host a Five Wishes
workshop: More than
15,000 organizations in all 50 states are distributing Five Wishes. Many of these groups
are using the
Five Wishes
Video to host a workshop/community
outreach event. Workshops are held at
community centers, places of worship, hospitals, senior centers, workplaces, colleges and
universities. Consider hosting a Five Wishes workshop for a group you are affiliated with.
Make a
Hope Today Connection:
Each one of us has an opportunity
today to connect with someone in need and bring them hope. It can be
as simple as spending time with a neighbor who may be alone or
connecting with the man you see outside the grocery store. What many
people need is a little hope… They need it today… And it can come
through you.
Host a Five Wishes
Party: A
fun and easy way to introduce Five Wishes to your friends and family
is to plan a "Five Wishes Party." Leslie Piet, a registered
nurse who works with cancer and other patients, offers
guidelines for hosting a "Five Wishes Party"
here.
Spread the word:
If you are not able to
host a workshop, you can still let others know about Aging with Dignity and
Five Wishes.
Be sure to tell your family and friends, doctor and attorney, and any organizations you
are affiliated with, about Five Wishes. Your efforts may help someone you know get the
kind of care they want, when they need it the most.
Contribute to
Aging with Dignity: Aging
with Dignity is a private, non-profit organization. We don't take a
penny of government money and need your charitable contribution to
continue our work. Since Aging with Dignity is a 501(c)3
organization, your donation is tax deductible.

Share your feedback:
We want to hear about your experiences with Five Wishes. You can
